  1. Hemmed-In Hollow Falls — Compton, AR

At 209 feet, this is the tallest waterfall between the Rockies and Appalachians. The hike is steep but rewarding, with incredible views deep in the Buffalo National River area.





  1. Tanyard Creek Falls — Bella Vista, AR

One of the most family-friendly waterfall hikes in the region, featuring a short, easy trail with multiple falls and beautiful scenery year-round.

  1. Glory Hole Falls — Ozone, AR

One of the most unique waterfalls in the Ozarks, the stream has carved a hole right through a rock ledge, creating a natural rock skylight for the falling water.

Located on the Lost Valley Trail, Eden Falls offers multiple waterfalls on the way up and leads to a cave near the top. It’s a great mix of scenery and adventure.

Inside Devil’s Den State Park, this is one of Arkansas’s best-known outdoor spots. It’s a great option for families, with beautiful rock formations and great hiking trails all around.
