Support Your Neighbors: Join the Give Where You Live Food Drive

Join the Annual Give Where You Live Food Drive!

This time of year marks a heartwarming tradition in our community: the Give Where You Live Food Drive. Reported by Bo Russell from 5 News, the drive is back and urging residents to support those in need. Partnering with the River Valley Regional Food Bank and local HARP's grocery stores across Northwest Arkansas, this initiative hopes to gather essential food items for families who are struggling.

In the video '11th annual Give Where You Live Food Drive underway', the community initiative highlights the importance of food donations, prompting us to explore how everyone can contribute to this vital cause.

Easy Ways to Contribute

At participating HARP's locations, you may notice convenient pre-assembled bags that make donating a breeze. Available at price points of $10, $15, and $20, each bag contains pantry staples that can significantly aid local households. Simply purchase one, and drop it off in the designated bins found at the front of the store. Your generous donations will be picked up by local food banks and distributed to community members in need.

Community Impact and Need

This food drive is not just about individual contributions; it’s also a collective effort to uplift our community. We urge everyone to consider bringing non-perishable goods, canned items, or even opting to purchase a food bag during your grocery shopping. Remember, nothing is too small when it comes to helping those who face food insecurity.

Where and When to Donate

The drive runs through next Friday, and drop-off boxes can be found at HARP's locations throughout Fort Smith and other parts of Northwest Arkansas. It’s an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your neighbors.

Your participation can help create a ripple effect of kindness, showcasing the strength of community spirit. Let's come together and give back this season!
