Arkansas Children's Northwest Fundraiser podcast discussion in modern office.

The Special Dish Event: Supporting Arkansas Children’s Northwest

To celebrate community spirit and collaboration, the Flavors of Northwest Arkansas podcast recently highlighted a remarkable event: the Dish, which benefits Arkansas Children's Northwest (ACNW). This annual gathering is not only the largest fundraiser for ACNW, but it also fosters connections among local food enthusiasts while raising vital funds for families in need.

In *Special Edition* DISH Benefitting ACH Northwest, the discussion dives into the importance of supporting children's health services in our community, exploring key insights that sparked deeper analysis on our end.

Why Dish Matters

As shared by event chairperson Sarah Ross, the Dish event takes place on April 23rd at the Ledger in downtown Bentonville. This year, attendees can expect a festive evening filled with culinary creativity from over 25 participating restaurants, including favorites like Junto and Oven & Tap. Guests can indulge in an array of small bites and beverages—all for a good cause.

Expanding Care for Our Children

The need for ACNW has never been greater, with a $371 million expansion project underway to better serve the community. This effort aims to keep medical care accessible for local families, minimizing travel for services that could significantly impact their lives. Courtney Becton emphasizes the importance of this local care, stating that families shouldn’t have to go out of state for necessary medical treatments.

Join in the Fun and Philanthropy

With various interactive elements—including a silent auction featuring generous donations and specialty cocktails—attending the Dish is about more than just food; it’s about community involvement. Guests can still participate in the silent auction even if they cannot attend the event by visiting the ACNW website to bid on unique items.

Get Involved!

If this sounds like an event you want to be a part of, consider purchasing your tickets soon—they’re going fast! Remember, attending the event is an excellent way to enjoy the best of local cuisine while supporting a noble cause.
