Central to their success has been a refreshing attitude that player Bri Ellis refers to as "chill vibes." This lighthearted mentality emerged after a difficult start. During practice, an amusing moment involving hitting coach DJ Gasso’s playful nickname for freshman Jayden Ramos—“Jamos”—triggered a shift in team culture. Ellis shared that now, every time a player hits a home run, they celebrate together with a hand gesture that embodies their light-hearted approach.
