The History Behind National Coffee Day

September 29th marks a special celebration in the hearts of coffee lovers around the world: National Coffee Day. This day acknowledges the aromatic and energizing beverage that kickstarts mornings and sparks friendly conversations. The origins of coffee can be traced back to a fascinating legend in Ethiopia, where a goat herder noticed his goats were particularly spirited after munching on the berries from a local tree. This discovery transformed into a drink crafted by local monks, and soon, the joy of coffee spread from the Arabian Peninsula to reach every corner of the globe.
