Experience the Thrill of the 2025 Rodeo of the Ozarks in Springdale, AR

Thrill of the 2025 Rodeo of the Ozarks in Springdale, Northwest Arkansas

Saddle up for one of the most exciting events in Northwest Arkansas! The 81st annual Rodeo of the Ozarks is set to take place from June 25–28, 2025, at Parsons Stadium in Springdale. This Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA)-sanctioned event promises four nights of heart-pounding action, family-friendly entertainment, and a celebration of Western heritage.

A Storied Legacy Since 1944

The Rodeo of the Ozarks began in 1944, conceived by local leader Shorty Parsons and community members seeking to boost morale during World War II. Despite early challenges, including a bleacher collapse in its inaugural year, the event quickly gained popularity. By 1946, it had achieved professional status, and in 1947, the Springdale Benevolent Amusement Association was formed to ensure its continuity. Today, the rodeo is recognized as one of the top five large outdoor rodeos in the U.S., drawing thousands of spectators annually.

What to Expect in 2025

Each evening's performance will feature premier PRCA events, including:

  • Bareback Riding

  • Saddle Bronc Riding

  • Bull Riding

  • Tie-Down Roping

  • Team Roping

  • Steer Wrestling

  • Barrel Racing

  • Breakaway Roping

Beyond the competitions, attendees can enjoy a vibrant parade, children's events, Western lifestyle vendors, and a variety of food options.
